Crisis: Rising Prices

Other blogs will rightly document the rising costs of insurance, construction, and even Jazzfest tickets.

But it's only at World Class New Orleans that you will read alarmist prose about the rising cost of Heavenly Hash Eggs, the World's Greatest Easter Candy.

At Sav-a-Center this morning, I noticed that a single Heavenly Hash now costs 59 cents. Yow.

And yet still I will buy them. Lots of them.

Damn, this *is* a crisis. I assume it extends to Gold Brick eggs as well. Where's K & B when you need them?

This is one of the many reasons why I'm soooo glad I'm Jewish...

I don't have to think about buying candy eggs laid by rabbits in commemoration of a day when some fella got nailed to some pieces of wood...and allegedly lived to tell the tale.
