A Question for Walgreen's, and a Song While You're Trying to Answer

I go to Walgreen's fairly often. And I wonder:

Walgreen's, why do you sell those individually wrapped pickles near the checkout? More important: who buys them? Pregnant women?

While you're thinking about that, enjoy this song, which I can't get out of my head. It's not an unpleasant plight. "New Soul" indeed.

RSD students buy those pickles. They pick them up at the same time they purchase spicy hot Cheetos. They bring them to my classroom and make a huge mess.

What drew your attention to the pickles?

What about the pork rinds?

What about the New Orleans tourist spoons?

Who goes to Walgreen's for tourist items?

Hey man, I remember one very very persistent pregnant patient in the Ambulance one day, demanding we stop enroute to the hospital for peanut butter and pickles. So we stopped at a Walgreen's, I ran in and got a small jar of creamy peanut butter and two of the said pickles you mentioned. Happiest patient I ever transported. And, to my great relief, didn't deliver in the unit. Even my cast iron stomach couldn't take the combo of fresh pickle juice and newborn oozes. Ugh.....
