What McCain Said, and What He Actually Did

This is nauseating and comical at the same time.

. . . Mr. McCain told reporters on his campaign bus that if the disaster had happened on his watch, he would have landed his plane “at the nearest Air Force base and come over personally.”

Anyway, do we on the Gulf Coast really want a president whose birthday is August 29? Would New Yorkers want a president whose birthday is September 11?

offbeat, I guess.

I, myself, was hoping to have a Gore/McCain race in 2008. So we could choose between the two people that Bush screwed most in 2000.
